To promote, encourage and assist the study and practice of obstetrics and gynecology and allied subjects.

To organize and establish facilities for clinical investigation and research in various aspects of women's health.

To promote maternal and child health and welfare, aiming to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates.

To hold periodical meetings and conferences, to read and discuss papers on clinical and scientific subjects.

To establish and maintain libraries and reading rooms containing books, journals and clinical material related to O&G.

To publish journals, booklets and reports to disseminate medical knowledge and health education among the public.

To protect the honor, dignity and interests of the medical profession, especially those practicing obstetrics and gynecology.

To secure mutual interactions and cooperation among medical practitioners through academic and social platforms.

To cooperate with other medical associations and Government bodies for the promotion of public health.

To conduct health awareness programs and diagnostic camps in rural and underserved areas.

To formulate guidelines and best practices for ethical medical care tailored to local community needs.

To undertake such other legal activities as may be necessary or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives.
